Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Who we are
InternetStop (“we”, “us”) is an independent telecom agency serving businesses from Southeast Texas. You can reach us at info@internetstop.org or (409) 800-4454.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us and what is needed to operate the site:
- Enquiry details — name, company, email, phone, service interest, site address and the message you submit.
- Technical data — IP address and browser user agent, recorded with a form submission to help us detect abuse.
- Session data — a temporary cookie used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
We do not run advertising trackers, session recording or third-party analytics on this site.
3. How we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver services you have engaged us for, and keep records required for tax and contract purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add enquirers to marketing lists.
4. Sharing
When you ask us to quote or order a service, we may share the minimum necessary details — typically service address and contact information — with carriers and vendors involved in that order. They act as independent businesses under their own privacy policies. Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract.
5. Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Contract and billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and telecommunications regulations. Server logs are rotated regularly.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@internetstop.org with the subject “Privacy request” and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a Texas resident, you may also have rights under applicable state privacy law; we will honour verified requests regardless of where you live.
7. Cookies and external resources
This site uses one session cookie for form security. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page renders. If you prefer to avoid that request, your browser can block third-party resources — the site will still work with system fonts.
8. Security
Forms are protected with CSRF tokens, rate limiting and server-side validation. Data is transmitted over HTTPS in production. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small: we do not store payment card data on this site.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change on this page.
